The Bxi1606D I have isn't that bad. Other people on this forum have had better results with their line.

I don't place all the blame soley on the amp though. It does put out lots of power, and DOES NOT GET HOT! That thing will keep the beverage of your choice coolrunning at full tilt.

thats osmething to look for in a daily amp for sure....

What I really like about the Opti is that it's .5 ohm capable, per the manufacturer. It's pretty power hungry, though. Think that just a big 3 upgrade on a corolla is enough to keep this from killing my car?

I would personally go with the OPTI

but what is your battery power like? and alternator size?

All I can say is that the battery is new but not a deep cell or anything and i have stock electronics. Like I said previously, I'm going to perform a big 3 once i get my wires from knuconceptz. Should I go for a new battery or new alt next?

Lanzar Opti, and for electric upgrades, just wait to see how much your voltage drops are, and upgrade as needed. Good luck.
