regardless to what anyone thinks about LANZAR in general, the OPTI Line of amps are good amps and will do rated power clean. The opti4k is beasty amp, of course you need to have the juice to feed because they are alittle power hungry, but again it takes power to make power.

I've been running the Opti 4001d for a while and i love the amp.You have a little different one in your op but i have NO complaints at all with mine.Been running it at .5 since i got it.Hasnt ever shut off or protected on me. Lanzar OPTI4001D 4000W RMS Monoblock Class D OptiDrive Car Amp

That OPTI 4K is same board as the old Soundstream XXX 6500. Soundstream versions like 18V

your running it on your stock alternator at .5 or 2 ohms? i think i can power it well enough with a 220A alt and a big deka in the trunk

put that sig in 3.7 cubes with a 7.5" round port- think its louder than any of my 15s. who would of thought?

There good amps on a budget man .. If you need big power cheap you should go for it

Yep stock 110 alt on .5 and 3-80 ah batts.2 positive runs of 0 ga welding wire and 2 runs of 0 ga on grounds.Toolmaker dual inputs.I only seriously turn it up when i'm driving.Dips to around 13.7 and thats it.Have to save a little and get me a Singer alt.Your 220a alt would be very good imo.

also i have some friend that has the OPTI6k i believe, and they live by lanzar. hes on here sometimes and has been using lanzar for years. his wife has meca world title using lanzar..... @sirsavealot;

I wouldn't mess with them, but Renots guys seem to do OK with the soundstream XXX's.

Sigs like big boxes. I've done really well with them in 4 cube ea.
