yeah i know how much evryone hates VS. threads i dont have any clue witch one to buy. It will power 2 15" SX's.

Viper 2500d from ikesound, they put out close to rms rateings?

Lanzar Opti 2000d CA&E did a test on one and it was almost right on the money.

Witch would you guys pick?

Go with the Viper but its a hit or miss with Ikesound

Viper for sure, didnt you read the whole thing, the lanzar drew tons of amps and if I recall it produced those watts at 15-16volts, or was that the opti4000D?? Id def go with the viper

^^^ that might of been for the 4000opti but I rember seeing the review on the 2000d and they tested lik 1970 rms watts at .5 14.4v and they sayed it's very efficent can get full power with using good 4 ga. I vote opti well partically cuase i have one. Orion will be the strongest since the 2500rms are rated at 13.8v. Viper is defeintly a amperage drawing hor same goes with the orion to. Orions can take .5 ohm but isn't really that safe unless you have a electrical to support it (ie. bigger alt., extra battery's) and it gets hotter quicker at .5 ohm. And I dont know if ikesound sells them refurbished anymore I think they ran out of everything and plus I've heard some horror stories buying from ikesound so your garenteed no warrenty for them to fix a problem. Just something to think about.

What ohm load do you need the power at? The Viper is only stable down to 2 ohms, while the opti will run down to .5

Also, the refurbs from ikesound have a warranty through DEI in the event anything goes wrong.

Id go with whichever one will do the power you need at the load you need for the price thats best.

If those things are equal, go with which one you like better cosmetically.

well he wants a amp to run 2 sx's which are dual 2 ohms each so they can be ran with either amp since they can wire to 2 ohm or .5 ohm. Either amp will slam the sx's since they they need 900-1400rms each to perform well. If they were still selling the refurbs from ikesound they were priced before at 355 plus 27 dollars in shipping so around 380 shipped and the lanzar is 260 shipped with warrenty also.

For that difference in price, Id go with the Lanzar. (assuming the warranty is through lanzar themselves)
