Any opinions on the Power series 12"

Dont see to many posting about the Rockford gear.

I am looking at the

ROCKFORD FOSGATE POWER 12" SUBWOOFER SUB T112D4

Some of the reviews i have found seemed ok (posotive), not a lot against the sub.

I was thinking 2 in vented box.

Pushing with Kenwood XXX-03A 1000 w 1 Ohm

i heard 2 15" Power HX2's off of 2 A-tek 1600.1's......****!! very impressive. Nice Excursion...get pretty loud.

Thanks

I get mixed reviews on the new power version versus the older HX?

I need to find some newer to listen to

the hx2's were awesome subs but the t1 is even better more power handling etc.now when it comes to sq there is no fosgate gear that is best in sq but if properly installed and enclosure to spec it wont sound bad.

Most of the research I have done indicates that the T1 or the P3 are good for SQ the T2 is strictly a SPL driver.

So you dont think the RF Subs are very good? What do you like for SQ in a 12" Driver.

i just sold a P3 it was a *****en sub but if you want a pure SQ driver get a Type X

Know see thats what confuses me.

Some sites like the Rockford of course, say that the T1 is good SQ

So it looks like i may need to wait and find some of these different subs installed at shows, the judge for myself.

Thanks For the input

Greg

I have 2 rockford T1 12" running off of the power series T15002.In a vented box I only have them hooked up non bridged right now. The amp is 33 inches long so there goes the split folding rear seats. I would say that the T1's are great subs. I have been using them for almost a year now.No funny smells or crazy crackling, non of that stuff. They get extremely loud and they do sound very well when turned uuuuuuuppppppp. They are not a one tone wonder. I did bridge the amp one time and i will NOT do that again. I dont think i would be able to see in the rain due to the fact that the winshield wipers would not stay on the winshield. They literely where bouncing off the winshild.Well they are great subs and the amp is a beast 450 watts rms to each channel is enough for me.
