opinion on MA Audio MA150XE

im lookin into an MA Audio MA150XE 15" to run in my dorm. i should be running it at a nice 350w. i just want to know what the general opinion is on MA audio and there subs, because i know nothing about them. this is suposed to be a somewhat budget system, my cars the real thing. so as long as its not going to blow or anything it will do just fine. anyone have any experience with these?

to run in ur dorm i would recommend an 18" IXL.

^^ or a MAW-15 it will sound better than that MA150XE the XE dos not sound that good

I have my MAW-12 i my room and it sounds good!

i want a 18 because why not just as you said, but im looking at 350w at 4ohms and ive yet to find an 18 logical to run that low, there mostly 1000w plus. price range is also belove 150, preferable below 100

what about a MA Audio MA151XQ 15" 450w for $109. i'll run that on 350w and it'll run forever. (all 4 ohm btw). Is MA Audio good stuff? I know nothing about them.

Their Hk stuff is all solid, but anything (subs) below that sucks, IIRC all of their amps are decent.

I had the MA120XE and after less than a month the spider separated from the VC former.

i went through about 15 -20 of the xe 12s , b4 the shops supplyer cut them off....lol.... therye decently loud just cant take abuse, ive since moved on to real subs..... dd's........

i used that box program to design a box and it gave me this. (hopefully it shows the same one)

it shows the port area as having two openings from the box to the port, which seems really strange to me. any insight on that?
