Opinion on amp for 2 sundown audio sa-12s

Looking for amp to push my 2 sa-12s. There dual 2 ohm, so i need something at 2ohms, not looking to run at .5. Looking to spend 3-500 range

Kicker zx2500 or Alpine MRX-m240, both does its power at 2 ohm.

Ampere audio 2000.1 is also a nice amp to look at,if you have money to spend look at fosgates bdcp amps. But the list can go on and on sq 2200.1, crescendo 2000.1 and sundowns svc amps. It all depends on what you can spend,what's your budget and electrical look like.

If he's not looking to run 1/2 ohm, all those amps are wasted money. They all are 1 ohm stable and power cuts in half when wired to 2 ohms.

I know he's not running 1/2ohm but those amps will still give decent power at 2 ohms. With the ability to run 1/2 ohm instead of buying a new amp .2ohm amps are a lot more expensive than 1ohm amps with the ability to drop lower if need be.

if its a permanent setup then go with the 2 ohm amps recommended. If the op knows he's gonna add 2 more 12s and run 4 12s in the future, then get an amp that does power at 1 ohm. You shop with future plans in mind.

find yourself a kicker or alpine. theres a few oldschool amps in the classifieds sectin that do those numbers at 2ohms

Rockford rates their Power or T series amps to do rated power at both 1 and 2 ohm's. Like that of the JL Slash amps.

However a new T2500 is well over budget.

depends the price but good enough theyre rated for 600 so technically your overpowering them. but your straight
