I've been looking at various high(er) end subs as I want a single 10 or 12 for my daily Accord.

My short list:

Sundown SA-10 or 12

Skar/Obsidian 10/12

Pioneer TS-W3004SPL

JL 12w6v2-d4

Audioque SDC2.5-12-D4 or HDC 10 or 12

And the maybe list:

(2) MMATS p2.5-12s

Diamond D6 10 or 12 (Always wanted one, very hard to find not beat up these days)

Alpine Type X 10 or 12

Kicker CVX 12

Would be running a Knu 4ga wiring kit. Box for aforementioned subs will be built to spec for whatever sub I choose.

On a side note, I had a T210 back in 07-08 off a Directed amp (I forget the model off hand, it was one of the nice ones) and I enjoyed the sub quite a bit, hence the reason I am looking for another

Thanks for the input. I'm leaning towards to T2 again. Found a BNIB Local (which is rare to find the old school T2's still new) but if that falls thru I'm just going with Sundown. We have a local dealer here, so if the T2 falls thru I'll see if they can price match online deals.

Just for shits...how do you think the T2 would sound in a sealed box? I'm just curious, far from a car audio newb, but my previous T2 was in a custom built by myself box to RF spec

You'll lack alot of potential output by going sealed. I would stick to ported. But that's just me. Never been a fan of sealed enclosures.

I just had the new t212d4 on a apsm1500, loved it. Only reason i switched was wanted some space back in my hatch.

Yeah, thanks for the help folks. Def be going ported. WTF was I thinking sealed? Just tossing ideas around basically. Anyways, I'm pretty much sold on the Sundown SA's if the deal with the T2 falls through.

Would a single SA-12 or 10 be able to handle the AP1500 daily? Or would two be a better match? (I'd go sealed with SA's).

Anyone have experience with the Pioneer TS-W3004SPL? I hear good things about them but everyone says the SA puts sub $200 subs to shame.

I would get a maxxsonics (hifonics or mbq) amp over AP anyday when it comes to budget amps. That AP1500 was clamped at somewhere around 1100rms clean power.... no thx

I've had my fair share of Hifonics amps...never had any issues with them. Always been a fan, Even the maxxsonics takeover. I just couldn't pass up a display model AP1500 for $95 shipped, given it's great reviews.

Most of the people doing those reviews have no clue what they are doing and are lucky they were able to differentiate positive from negative. Reviews dont mean shit if the person doing the review is a complete retard.

To be fair there's bad/good reviews on basically every amp. I thought I'd give the AP a try in my daily. We will see how it goes
