Opinion and thoughts on obtaining amp(s)

Hello everyone!

I signed up on here to seek some expert advice on selection for an amplifier.I bought the car audio components for my car already (both front and rear speakers and a 12" Subwoofer) some time ago. Now the harder part for me is to choose which amplifier would best suit my application.

Car: 2002 Honda Accord Coupe EX

Speakers:

Front: Infinity Reference 6020cs Component Speakers. 2-Way

  • Size: 6 1/2
  • RMS Power Range (Watts): 2 -90
  • Peak Power Handling (Watts): 270
  • Impedance (Ohms): 2

Rear: Infinity Reference 5022i Speakers. 2-Way

  • Size: 5 1/4
  • RMS Power Range (Watts): 2-45
  • Peak Power Handling (Watts): 135
  • Impedance (Ohms): 2

Sub:

Subwoofer: Kicker Solo Baric S12L7

  • Size: 12"
  • RMS Power Range: up to 750 Watts
  • RMS Peak Power Handling (Watts): 1500
  • Impedance (Ohms): 2 or 4

If I'm missing something under the specs that's critical to know, please let me know so I can find it and post it. Also, a neighbor of mine is selling a Car Audio Amplifier, Brand New in Box, for $200. It's a Hifonics Brutus Super-D Class 1600. But I'm under the assumption that this amp is for the Sub only. Am I wrong? And would that necesarrily be a good buy for this application?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

Yes the Hifonics is a sub amp, but it is probably more power than you need for 1 L7, but $200 is an ok deal, Id tell him $150!

We need more info. though?

Overall budget?

Is the L7 Dual 4 or Dual 2?

He paid more than what he's selling it for. And he's pretty firm on the price too, so I don't think It will come down. More than likely I will buy it from him, it's a good Amp. for the price.

My budget, is probably not to exceed $170 for the Speaker Amplifier. And the Kicker Amp is a 12" Kicker S12L74, which the last number signifies the Dual 4-ohm voice coils.

What about a single amp for all of the components listed above? I would really rather have just a single amp so I wouldn't have to find the space for. But if that wouldn't benefit me in the long run, then I'd reconsider.
