did you know you can sand the mdf,prime and paint it,and it will be shiny like fiberglass?

Thanks for the truthfull feed back. I agree with you totally. Like i said b4 i bought the whole setup as a whole. I just REALLY dont have to time to work with it right now. I was actually considering just yanking off all the felt an redoing it in black/charcoal. But i have a meet in 3 week an i still have a front bumper to put on an full turbo kit to install ....no time:*******:

 
it's alright. the fabric needs smoothed out. and i'm not diging the mods too much. i mean, for the money you spent you could probably be around evo territory. that means bullet proof engine, lighter vehicle, better suspension, better resale, stronger chassis, etc. etc.

At the time the way my money was i couldnt afford a 500 dol a month car payment. Im paying under 300 for this.I agree with you the evo is an extraordinary car i just couldt afford30 to 40k. An i havent even come close to spending that on my car...

As for the light vehicle an stronger chassis...our cars are built on the same platform.....Just with dif motors an suspension upgrades..

Iknow i know i gotta work on my cover i agree with you totally ...it irritates the hell outta me too...

I know im gunna get good an bad feedback its all good man.

 
well they're on the same platform, but the evo has about 200 extra stitch welds along the chassis/frame. you also bought this used, could've got an evo used for around 25k i'm betting (if not cheaper) but if you enjoy it, thats all that matters.

if it was me, i'd quit doing performance upgrades and focus on audio, etc. the money that you're putting into the vehicle right now, you're likely to never get back. however if you're getting audio, atleast you can physically take it out of the vehcile and put it in another if and when you decide to get a new vehicle someday.

Funny thing is i couldnt get financed for a used car or i would have been in an eclipse GT conv. As for the evo i wouldnt be able to make the extra payments or the insurance. i got my car for 16k brand new.

When i get the audio in thats gunna be it. I dont need anymore.

Car right now is torn apart as we speak for turbo/bodykit upgrade. I wasnt going to put the bodykit on till i had the balls to back it up.(All show an no go dont work for me) Full turbo kit arrived today and i will begin install in two weeks. With a 16G turbo pushing 7psi the kit dynoed 245HP an 265 ft lbs of torq at the wheels. Its enough to pull on a stock evo which dynoes around 225HP/ 213 lb/ft. at the wheels.

So no its not just a standard ricer:driving:

No way, I may make a pass at the drag strip just to see what it does but thats about it. I dont like running the car that hard. Its my first import build so im going to take care of it. Lol, sorry dude, every ricer gets a body kit and bolts on a turbo, adds a few gauges

Now if you were to do some actual mods to it, like a cam swap or a intake, i would have a lot more respect for you
