Onyx Audio specs?

Good luck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Seems like RE/Destijl was the buildhouse for them. Maybe try contacting them?

I thought the motors were TC?
I don't remember off hand......but I remember RE using "rejected" Onyx motors on one of their models without removing the Onyx logo first, which turned into a big shit storm. Because of that, it seemed that RE/Destijl would have been the build house and bought back the "rejected" motors from Onyx and put them to use on their own subs.

Seemed logical, atleast //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Ya makes sense. What do you think about Onyx woofers? good? bad?

Seem to recall that they were solid performers. Sounded pretty good and got pretty loud.

They weren't around long though......
Kinda sad. Thanks for the help man. I googled it and came up with a strong sounding woofer. I was surprised to find they are only 250 rms and 500 peak though. The voice coil is 2.5 inches with four layers. I was even more surprised to find it is about 20 lbs for a single 12. Pretty beefy woofer

Would be nice to know the series of subs. If there the LSv.2 then there nice subs, rated at 350wrms but take well over 750wrms each.

I know what subs you're talkn about, they're the ones for sale on ebay right now. I just bought that last guys Onyx subs, as im trying to amass as many Onyx Ls2 subs as I can, right now I have two. The ones you are looking at are of course the lower line models, but still good street beaters, and were produced by TC Sounds. Id buy them if I had a use for them, but im just interested in the LS verisons.

here are some pics of my Onyx subs in action, and a link to my video on Realm Of Excursion.

Single LS10 Demo / Bench Test

Dual LS10 Demo / Bench Test

Those ones you're talking about are a rare find, they didnt make more than a few hundred of them. Onyx was only in business from like 1999 to 2001

We didnt buy anything from them.

Nothing was "rejected".

They never paid their bills.

We used the $50,000 worth of motors we had sitting in our inventory.
