That birch box needs the edges rounded over by a router.
Also, just personal preference but when you design your box, make it so that when your looking at the front baffle you don't see any endgrain at all.

I cut that with a jigsaw... and an FYI, the inside baffle has a 35 degree chamfer on it.

And if your referring to how the box looks crooked in the picture, its because the table saw isn't level.
