onlinecarstereo.com buyers beware

Well I have my fingers crossed that it all goes good and you will not be back here complaining.
Uhh, I'm back here complaining. The sub still hasn't shipped. Me thinks maybe they just plain don't have that sub in stock, and they're not honest enough to update their online inventory???

 
They did that to me about a year ago. They still had 10" Infinity Perfects in stock it said. So I ordered it and waited a week and then called. And she said Sorry, they've been out of stock for quite a while now. Which I replied then maybe someone should update your FUCKING website. Pissed me off! Then they took the money off my card and it took em' 10 freaking days to refund it. Never again.... And btw I'll betya they don't have those JBL Powers in stock... Just sayin'.

 
I've purchased from them several times before without any issues. But then again, a lot of these online stores are too d@mn lazy to update their inventory status of their products. Isn't that someone's job?

Well, I got somebody on the phone and sure enough... Out of stock!! SMH!!

How nice of them to just lie about having them, let me order one anyway, and just leave me hanging like that with ZERO email or anything even on my order screen on their site about how it's just not gonna happen. I cancelled my order and headed on over to sonicelectronix and ordered my cousin-in-law a RE SE/x 12 (great buy @ $129).

And, take a look. Not a thing about being out of stock. Just a green Add to Cart button. I'll never go back...

I stopped puchasing from Online car stereo a while back when I had an issue with them on DOA amp i got. I asked to speak to a manager because the customer service rep was being a dik. Sadly i am having the same issue with another retailer, havent had that trouble with online car stereo or any yet.

 
Eh wanna hear something funny? A few days ago, another online seller - caraudiodeals.com listed an amp I been wanting for $90 shipped on amazon. This amp sells for no less than $140 everywhere else! I jumped on it and a day later they cancel my order and state "out of stock". I go to their site and find them on ebay, they got ALOT of them in stock!!! I suspect it was a price error they made but were not decent enough to honor it or even admit. If they admitted, I would still buy from them but the fact that they lied, I would NEVER buy from their again or recommend them to anyone!

Btw, Sonic has been good to me so far, even with returns and if you buy DIRECTLY from amazon - they make sure you are happy even if things go wrong. They have the quickest refund turnaround I ever seen.
