I'd like to share my experience with buying some Orion coaxial speakers from onlinecarstereo. I placed the order for 2 sets of coaxial speakers because they had a good price and free shipping. I didn't receive an email conformation that one set was not in stock which I feel should have been posted on their website. I received the set that was in stock a week later with a notice saying that the others were on back order. I called and talked to them and they never apologized for the inconvenience and said they would be in the next week. I called a week later and they said they didn't come in and it would be another week. I called a week later and they said they were shipping to me that day and to expect them in a week. Nothing came. I called them a week later and they said the order was cancelled. If I ever meet that guy in person I will beat his a$$. I had to cancel days I had set aside to install them (along with a head unit) twice. I ordered the speakers from a merchant on amazon and they shipped them within the hour. Now that is customer service. Good luck if you plan on buying stuff from onlinecarstereo. You are going to need it.

ive bought from them 2 times first time was a old school ppi YEARS ago . had zero problems . other time it was a pain in the *** as well wouldnt order from them again either

That was the only good part about the transaction. They don't charge you if the item is on back order until it ships..or in my case until they screw you and cancel the order weeks later.

days? it takes 2 hours to put in a new stereo and speakers.

ive never had a problem with onlinecarstereo, and i have bought en from them for years.

That sucks and all but this time of year the place is probably packed with orders plus you got your money back so no they didn't "screw" you they simply ran out of stock shit happens bro.

my issue with them ,was , i bought a new kenwood flipout with navi for the wife a few years back .well i got it a week later in the original box and all , she was excited .well on the bottom of the box was a sticker saying that it was a factory refurbished item .i called them back saying wtf i order a new deck not refurbished ,their comment was that it was the last one in stock period and they had no new ones, they said 1 i could send it back at my expense for a refund minus shipping and order a new deck and pay the difference or just keep it ,and they would not refund anything because it was refurbished. cost me $950 big ones .well i never will buy from them again .

when you bought the item, did it say new or refurbished on the item page? if it said new, I would sue them for false advertising.

Can't help but think they're a bit off when they have the PPI p900.5 which even @trumpet ; can't get his hands on right now...

the bbb has no teeth to do nothing and it would have cost me more in times and money to go to la thru court and sue them ,just chaulked it up to experience,thats why i started selling car audio myself .

No..I made plans the first time they were supposed to be here with someone that had the tools to help me. Then I made plans with them when I was promised they had shipped to me. And sorry "bro" but when you tell someone that something has shipped to them and then cancel the order a week later and not tell the person. That is bs and screwing someone..that someone being me and that is why I joined this forum to make a bad name for a bad company.

Sadly, this is not new with them. This is an issue distributor side also.

I stopped puchasing from Online car stereo a while back when I had an issue with them on DOA amp i got. I asked to speak to a manager because the customer service rep was being a dik.
