i meants in terms of price and features, you get more with Onkyo, but yes both are very solid units. i love my ht-5100s by Onkyo!!

its a great receiver and its the only receiver on the market under 700.00 that supports pcm 1.3

I don't use mine like that....

However, that limits the effectiveness of HDMI. My Pio Elite is "pass-thru", but why make 2 video connections when I only have to make one.
