Onkyo 805

So I think I have decided to spend the extra cash and go for the onkyo 805. I was sold on the 605, but wanted more power available and the added HQV processing in the 805 sounds much better.

anyone using this receiver now? what are you thoughts? worth the extra cash?

and where to buy? any good online sites to find it around $700?

I love my 605, I was originally going to go with the 805 as well... but my budget got chopped about in half...

I've got the 805 and friggin love it. But to be honest, I only needed it for an extra hdmi port. But decided to spend the extra over the 705, based on power and the improved scaler...

I found one from an auth dealer online for $659. I am very tempted to jump on this now.

Anyone know if Onkyo has new 08 models coming out this year? my luck is I would get this and the "new model" come out in just a couple months. I have looked at all the CES stuff from the show, but can't find if onkyo has any new models in the works for this year.

Doubt it... new models don't come out at the beginning of the year...
