Okay So I'm trying to find another 15" Eclipse Ti 9152 for my final build on my Subaru, But Until I do, I'm going to run a ported setup with Either:

( I have the RE's and the JL's so don't think of price as a factor. They are already here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif)

1.) Two 13.5" W6v2's

2.) Two 15" RE SE's

Can't decide which setup to do.

Pro's for JL's:

More Xmax.

Smaller Enclosure

More Power Handling

Not too many 13.5 Drivers in play right now.

Amazing SQ!!!!

Con's for JL's:

Less Cone Area

(Can't use same enclosure for the Eclipse Ti's later) (more work) Yes I'm LAZY. STFU!

What do you guys think?

Help meh Out.

BTW: In my testing w6v2 vs RE SE in optium sealed.

13W6v2 > 15 RE SE

The W6 will sound better, but the SE will have more impact.
If I had to choose I would go with the w6 for all around.
see IDK. cuz XMAX on the w6v2 is > the RE SE

so what it lacks in that little bit of cone area it. in theory makes up for in movement

Very similar products. I give the nod to the JL's myself, but the likely differences between the two could easily be eclipsed by enclosure variations. And sounds like the SE's would be the easier route. Just pick one choice and run with it, especially if its just temporary.

Thanks, would like to know some real numbers on the difference of the 2.

Make a box for the Eclipses but cut holes for the JL's thats not too much work even for a lazy *** like myself.
They don't like a box that big //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
