What are the specs on the Sundown E's? I cant find much on them since they got discontinued... are they SVC 4ohms around 300-400 watts? Because if so, then they might be the winner.
And I'm not sure about 15s. Is it true that you sacrifice a little SQ with the wider cone area?

you get two D2 and wire in series and you get 2 ohms. Not that hard...

Ah, gotchya. To be honest I'm not savvy with electrical stuff, I never understood what wiring in series or parallel meant. It's good to know that the option is there, though. Don't the E's push 500 watts apiece? That wouldn't be a problem for my amplifier?

not really. But you can go with a single 15 ported and save a lot of money and get almost just as loud

That's you setting the amp up.

A amp will handle whatever is hooked up to it as long as it's a stable resistance.

So clipping only happens when you dont set your gains properly?

That's one way. Boosting aka overdriving the signal. If the information is not in the recording you can't add it.

No. Buy whatever you want. Having more than needed is great, you can always turn it down. But you don't have to have rated power either.

I like to have 2x rated power for all my drivers. Just because.

Wow, this is great. This whole time I've been screwing around trying to match subs to my amp like an idiot. Looks like I might be able to get a couple Sundown's and make some magic happen

The average mistake when people don't have enough power. They keep turning it up and causing nothing but distortion. Distortion seems louder to the ear. Then smoke

Alright, so feel free to get higher rated drivers but dont overdo it. I figured as much
