ok i recently purchased 2 12 inch solobarics l5 and was planning on putting them in my 99 chevy cavalier... but am having trouble finding an enclosure.... so i got some info from an anonymous person that said putting 2 solo 12 l5 in the back of my car would be rediculous and would be better off putting one of them in it in a ported enclosure what are your alls thoughts on this.

pff there not thinking. well you can get those 2 in a ported box and they will go crazy what kinda of amp are you using on them? and if you use pored i beleive they will be better off then sealed.

well i havent invested in a amplifier yet but i have a question for you... im not a builder so am not going to be able to create my own box.... so do you know where i can purchase one that is vented an tuned to the correct settings.... i appreciate it.

those subs would sound alot better ported than sealed IMO sealed isin't even an option for the solo barics, also the fool that told you to only use one is just that a fool don't listen to him/her... get some one to tell you what size to cut each piece of wood and you should be ok, the hardest part of building a box is getting the right deminsions/tuning... im pretty sure some one can design a box for you for about $10... also what kinda amp you got?

ebay has some they are alright, best way to go is making it or check here if anyone can make u one so it is tuned just right and u would enjoy it a bit more Moe lester makes good box's

Subzone boxes are generally well built. But like has been mentioned, there are MANY PEOPLE here who will build you a box, just gotta look around. Hell, its in quite a few peoples signatures.

Subzone boxes are generally tuned too high for daily use, unless you like a high tuning.
