One or Two Lanzars?

I'm looking at some 15" Lanzar Subwoofers. 3000 watts RMS. I was wondering if just one of them with a 3000 watt RMS amp would be enough to blow everyone away, or if two of them would be more necessary. I mean, I don't want to rattle windows, but I want to feel the beat in my chest. Would one of them with an appropriate amp be enough?

Why try none? Is Lanzar a bad brand? i saw some videos of some Optidrive subwoofers beating the crap out of everything in the vehicle, and all of the reviews I read said that they had good sound quality.

Nothing wrong with the OPTI series, the rest of stuff Lanzar makes is crap tho.

There is nothing wrong with the OPTI series amps and subwoofers. The rest of the crap Lanzar makes gives them a bad name. Anyways, that video you saw might have been of the install I didnt in my buddies Alero.

opti series is decent as far as subs are concerned, amps are some beasts. like jco said, some more info would be good and price/model of said sub you are trying to get. there may be better in your price range.
