Finally installed two ID12v3's. One of them is popping. I set it with a DMM. I bought it brand new, supposedly, off
eBay from someone that lives 45 minutes north from me.
What should I do? The gain is set correctly, and I even set them slightly lower to accomodate the sub that is popping. I can unscrew the sub tomorrow and make sure there isn't any wire behind the cone or anything.. I hate unscrewing subs.
Should I try to get my money back, or just lower the gain even more to stop clipping because my voltage measurement was off?
