Yankees got pwnd. Last year the Yankees had 97 wins and Detroit 95. Detroit had the best pitching staff in baseball, so I don't understand why they were such underdogs.

but it all came apart the offseason

they let Bradford, Oliver and Bannister go

they destroyed the team's chemistry

they re-signed Mota (steroids!) and signed Showenweis (bust!)

during the trade deadline they didnt go after bullpen help...now its biting us in the ***
