This forum is definitely good for starting out. It's where I started out and I still enjoy coming back here occasionally. If you are interested in the technical side of things, however, carsound.com and elitecaraudio.com have several members of the industry that visit very often and can maybe offer more of a professional/mature environment. They aren't nearly as active as here, though, so I guess they both have their merits.

go spend time on regalgs.org and probably alot of other forums that takes days/weeks(i've waited 2weeks for a reply that was no help) for a single reply.
