One of my CDT speakers stopped working, WTF?

They are hooked up to an ED nine.2 amp, and for the last couple weeks the one on the left would every now and then just stop working and then randomly start working again. The tweeter works all the time though. And today it went off and never started working again. What the hell is wrong with them, i think they are 1 month out of warranty too. Also, they are the EF-61's

Same thing happened with pioneer rev components. My amplifier would cut off. soon the midbass went out in the left door. then got new components and Havent had the problem happen and my amp runs cooler.
