One more thread on head units and speakers

I currently have Boss 612UA aftermarket receiver which the specs are (watt and rms wise) as so...

Peak Power Output 50 watts x 4 channels

RMS Power Output 10 watts x 4 channels

I plan to install "Pioneer TS-A1675R" 3 way coaxial speakers, and was wondering if the HU will be powerful enough to produce a decent sound quality.

And later on, I plan to install "Rockford Fosgate R169X3 Prime" for the rear speaker, and will the HU then be enough to power both front and rear speakers?

or should I replace the HU also?

NOT THINKING ABOUT INSTALLING AN AMP ANYTIME SOON

Decent sound quality? Not likely, make noise, sure. That's not a great headunit.

the HU was a quick replacement of the factory stereo due to very annoying cassette problem. I never thought to actually replace the speakers , but would you say that switching HU is recommended, or stay as it is?

I don't shoot the volume up when listening to music, just enough that it is loud (no mirror shaking loudness)

If I change the HU, would "JVC KW-R910BT" be enough?

Bare minimum for a good head unit. Time alignment capable, crossover options, 7 band eq or more. Absolute must is a 24 bit DAC(digital audio convertor)

If you arent amping speakers or doing any acoustical door treatments or proper seal and baffle, it will not be much if any improvement. Infact most cheap after market speakers will sound worse than factory speakers because the factory created a proper seal and baffle and is designed to work well off head unit power.
