I know I've posted alot of threads in the last day but if I add my questions to my other threads they prolly wont get answered. I have been on some other car audio forums and the people on there were really bashing Type R's saying that they were Pieces of ****. I know some ppl in here are very knowledgable so I want to know are these good subs or are they crap. Thanks for the input.

I can already see this forum being about 4 or 5 pages already. To make a long story short, the type rs are good subs. The new 05 type rs have done well, and sell pretty regular at the shop.

I think Type R's are great, they have good sq, and output is good as well. Look at tommyk's new thread, he compared a 10" Type R to a 10 seXXX and a 10 SX, Type R was louder, and could handle more power, and was also more versatile. Plus you can easily get 2 off ebay for $200.

I wish I had an application for four 10's right now.

They're super cheap on ebay ... in my opinion, one of the better deals out there right now. Even authorized they're not that bad compared to some of the other drivers out there.

In my opinion the Type R' s are great speakers compared to other brands. It will be A good investment, Me personally got rid off all my Audioabahn **** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif for Alpine and was very impressed with the sounds //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif . whoever said the type r is a piece of shit is an idiot who prolly has a huge re boner or something. type r is one of the best values on the market right now. they are clean, and get low.
