my amp is a 1600 rms at 1 ohm hifonics brutus. Its gonna be wired to a MTX T9515, currently i have 4 gauge to a block, then 8 to each amp (Speaker and Sub), i wanna give the sub bigger wire, so

Can i just keep my 4 gauge and run that directly to the sub amp, or should i run 0 gauge and then split it to 4 gauge to the sub amp.??? Do I need to run 0 gauge if the sub will only get 4 gauge is what im saying????

I would reccommend it, yes. 4 gauge can handle whatever current x amount of feet of 4 gauge can handle. Running the sub amp with the 4 gauge wouldn't be bad per se, but it would not be effective or efficient as 0-4/8.
