i believe richard said the thunder 1,000,000 (its official name) needed 12" of cement at least around it and it has 9 voice coils. for awhile mtx would have built you one for 70k just to keep richards legal. the original woofer fell apart due to gravity. the motor was a few thousand pounds the new one uses titanium bracing and i believe he has it set up at autosound 2000. if there were gods of car audio richard and david navone would be it im sure. as to what the front looked like...the dust cap looked like the older school thunders and had MTX with THUNDER 1,000,000 on it just like the older woofers had their names on the dust cap the woofer diameter (cone) was 5 or six feetOriginally posted by B&R Innovations Well they have it in a sheet metal truck...with a few braces
