Once again another question :\ plz help

Ok, so my set up is 2 wdx2k 12'S and a re audio ztx 3000.1 amp (1400rms) all hooked up to the factory radio on a 2012 chrysler 300 with a stock 160amp alternator. Just a two days ago I started getting a warning sign on my cluster that said "battery saver mode" and my radio would turn off and would not turn on till I turned the car off and on again but would go back into battery saver mode in a few mins. And today completely dead would not crank. So after doing a bit of research myself I learned that the 300's in that year are notorious for having bad alternators. So could it just be my bad luck that the alternator went out or is it my set up that is causing this and i need to do some electrical upgrades? I would hate to get a new alternator and have it go out as well. Thanks in advance.

What brand of subs are those?

Yup...the newer vehicles are pretty picky if they have anything aftermarket installed. Too many dam sensors in these vehicles its so retarded.

Might be the alt and/or batt to answer your question. I would do the big 3 if you can.

could be a bad alternator or bad battery. the alternator will shut off if the battery is bad and never fully charges, it'll overheat from working too hard and shut off.

get your battery and alternator load tested by a reputable alternator shop in town, the cheap tools auto parts stores have are notorious for being innaccurate

They're Db drive. I read online that the big 3 upgrade just pulls more juice from alternator.

Thanks. I'm getting it taken to a shop tomorrow. I know I will be receiving bad news I just hope it's not to bad.

The alt recharges the battery Doesn't pull juice. But know what you mean.

The big 3 will be easier on the charging electrical system than stock. Thus will also reduce lights dimming.
