? on Sundown Z v.3 18

Wasup guys. I just ran across the new Z's and they look really well built! But its seems 2 be rated @ 1500rms. I know Sundown underrates their products so how much could it really take all day everyday? I plan on getting either 3 of these or 3 DC Lvl 4XLm2's (AR Cone). The Z's are a lil cheaper & I plan on putting 2400-3000rms on each woofer. Could the Z handle it? Please give me some Feedback on the woofer.

The Z v.3 has a pretty massive 8-layer flat aluminum coil... 60mm long on D1 and 65mm on D2... coupled with extremely good voice coil cooling based on several years of fine tuning on the SA line. While we do rate out stuff conservatively they are thermally on par with many products rated for MUCH more wattage.

Also -- the 18" in particular has a very large 9.25" spider with TONS of throw.

fo sho... I dont think that you need 3 350 amp alts for 6k daily though, I am a fan of VERY stout electrical but 1050 amps is waaaay too much. 6k will only draw around 416 amps, you would do fine with two 350's or even one... its your shiz though, should get loud

Lol he lookin for ZERO drop from 14.4v. Plus when he gets tired of the Z's and decided to kick it up a few thousand watts he won't have to worry about it. Do it right the first time I guess...

I just think that two more d3100's instead of the third alt would be more beneficial, but either way system is beast, wish that I could fit that much stuff in the Ranger...

They are about 90% as strong as NS v.2s
