Right now I'm going to wire up 1 amp. Eventually I will add another amp for my front speakers.

Car: 06 stang...amp('s) will be in trunk

Amp:Alpine MRD-M500 --->going to push a 10 JLW3 @ 2ohms

According to specs, amp needs 4ga for pwr & gnd. It has a 60amp fuse on it.

The 2nd amp will be roughly be around 150-200 watts. Will be used for speakers inside car, which this will happen later in future.

Will 4ga pwr wire from bat to trunk be enough if add a 2nd amp in later?

from what i understand 4 gauge wire is good for about 200 amps of current, so u should be fine, but for the price, i would suggest going with a 0 kit from ebay, like stinger, u can get the red colored one for about 65 shipped, and that will leave plenty of room for upgrade in the future

I wouldn't use 4awg for much over 120A at typical distances...110-120A would be the maximum I'd feel safely fusing it at. Above that, go to 2awg unless you're closer to 300A...
