i dont know, im just guessing that a solo x and 1500 watts shoudl be higher than that score, and i was looking in the instruction manual online and it shows the two mics, and the one i used definitely didnt look like the spl one.....but my score was a 135.7, not a 136 so im still wondering if he had the 136 mic, and it only really goes to 135.7, or the mic was damaged anyway, or my setup is just really weak.....

the ac was the standard some years ago. every year term lab gets tougher and tougher....does that mean its really more accurate? if its that good why change it every year?

you can peg an ac it wont stop just short.

Holy jesus...nobody is going to be able to answer your question. Maybe it's damaged? Maybe it's pegged? Find another shop and get it metered.

**** no reason to get uppity. just thought someone would have a similar experience....no where else in colorado has a mic (that i know of)

only meter i ever pegged was a coustic that went to 140 db. hell back in 96 every ac meter i seen went to 150 then 160 then 170 lol........

oh ok. Well im just gonna end this and say that i am positive that the cheap shop still had the 136 meter on, and it was damaged, because there is no way my system is that weak....thanks guys
