no i got the part of my story which makes the cop shady.
so hes on a motorcycle and at the light, he pulls up next to us, my windows are down, music is barely on, radio is playing " Plies-I feel like ****in"

hes right next to us on my side, and says " hey turn ur **** radio down"

barely on, i mean he can obviously hear it, cuz his head is 3 feet away from my opened windows, and im like "oh sorry about that officer."

let me say this again, barely on and no bass, my sub is turned off.

no less then 10 seconds later, he then puts on his bike siren, says " hey can you pull over"

comes up to my window and says i was speeding

then says that my PA was disruptive

then looks at my overhanging windshield strip tint and says "this is protruding too far down"

and then says he could hear my music from 300 feet away from where he "radared" me

i ask him for his radar record and its hardware update logs, and he refuses.

WTF

If you sent a letter to the police office and they refuse I think the Judge will drop the charges because they have to show that the officer was certified to operate the radar and that it was properly calibrated.

Maybe you can answer this for me. Why do foreigners think they can come to America and drive like total douche bags? You should honestly have your license taken away for 3 months. That seems fair to me.

They do not have to produce their radar certification right on scene, but in court they would have to produce it. In Cleveland that is not going to help you win because the only ones who run radar are traffic cops who are certified. And just for the record in Cleveland the only ones who have "quotas" are the traffic cops, and the "quota" is a certain number of tickets per hour. The number is so low that you can do 1 traffic stop per hour and be above the "quota". There is no "I got a ticket because he needed to fill his quota ", at least in Cleveland.

Same in PA (on all of that). My wife's brother is a police officer over there. There is no "quota" for regular officers. That is just some made up thing that people say after being caught to make themselves feel better.
