how are things over in the US now?

everyday when i watch the news, i keep hearing how bad things are in the US due to the economic down turn and stuff, and how its goin to be the next great depression, blah blah.

but how are most of your guys holding up?

is it as bad as i see it is?

over here, we're feeling the effects and business has slowed down. really suxs man.

anyway, hope everyone's doing ok!

Not so hot. My Dad lost his job of 25 years and even my Mom's boss (who's got a good deal of money) had his home foreclosed.

One of my mom's clients told her (not in an attempt to brag in any way, she's a quiet little old lady), that "I lost more money yesterday in the stock market than most people make in a lifetime." This was after one of those real bad days from a few months ago.

I'm confident we'll come out of it. America is a bit overdue for a recession/depression. I think Obama is looking at a couple programs similar to the New Deal like the CCC and the PWC. Plus the legalization of marijuana would create an boom similar to the one in the alcohol business after the repeal of prohibition.
