depends on the cop and what they are doing.. he was there to write tickets and wanted to get his numbers in for the day and be done for the month.. didn't have time to take me in and write it up etc etc etc.. too much hassle for a speeding ticket

I went 105 on the highway. Didnt get a speech got ****ing arrested. Went to jail in the ghetto with a bunch of crackheads. Lost my license for 6 months. It was right as I turned 17 (2 days after) cop said if I was 16 I would NOT have got arrested cause they dont arrest minors for traffic violations.

I hear ya and your right, most are out to meet quotas and what not, been there done that.

But I have grown up and don't do stupid shit like what he does anymore......well the speeding.

I still have tint and system, just watch where I play it and try to take back roads and aviod most cops.

Still get pulled over where I used to live where my parents are. They always let me go and never know I have a system unless they popped the trunk, lol!

so wait I read through it all but you never stated.. did you elect to attend court or did he make it mandatory? if you elected you are not very smart... court costs aren't worth it if you know you did wrong.. Also.. FL made a new law as to where the officer can't negotiate on punishment.. its all up to the judge.. If you have no evidence to support you weren't doing this it or that the judge does not care about you.. I assume you are younger 18-20ish so with no evidence the only thing you can do is hope the cop doesn't show or mixes up their story.. and they will most likely show.. they get paid overtime to show..

im 18. i dont have concrete proof, just word of mouth.

im a good talker though, and will do my best to get out of this unscathed.

and yes i was told to ask the cop a bunch of random questions, like

what color was my jeep?

This is all true.

However when I went to court 9-10 times the cop never showed and I would walk out of there with ticket cut in half or dropped and just pay court costs.

If he does show though, good luck, lol!
