BTW it has become rather difficult to get tickets to detroit sporting events. pistons and red wings sellout every game, the lions always draw close to sellouts, and now the tigers are selling out and only selling standing room only tickets

you know i tried watching college basketball and that was some of the most terrible basketball i have watched. maybe it was just because it was michigan, but it was awful. 35 seconds is way too long on the shot clock. all they do is pg dribbles, tries to drive to the basket, fails, gives it too 2 guard, he fails, gives it to sf, he fails, throw it around the 3-point line, shoot 3, hope it goes in. the sloppy play drove me crazy. nobody moves without the basketball, it's all one on one. i suggest you watch a pistons game to see some real basketball //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Last time I was in Detroit I was pretty impressed they are really bringing a lot of the areas around from their once nasty slump. Cincy city council should take a trip up there and see how it's done...

yea the new stadiums and casinos are helping but i don't wander too far from the stadium. if you stray away from the stadium too far you are in some unsavory area.

well during an event i don't worry cause i don't think anybody will try something with 40k people //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif but yea in the last 10 years they built the new stadiums, opened up that hocketytown cafe and cheli's chili and 3 new casinos. they also did a lot of cleaning up for the superbowl
