Thanks bro! i feel much better seeing that comment come from an guy like u! i still look up 2 ya mayne!I didnt read any of the thread, I just wanted to say that the first pic is awesome..
that is all
im gonna get another 40.1 soon, the score should be interesting.
then whats the purpose of facing subs in a different direction?noob. Bass isnt a directional sound. Also if the cone shoots notes forward, why have a ported box? Whats the port do? His subs would own yours.
thanks man i do agree about the motors! it does look a tadddd bit bigger in person tho lol:laugh:nice setup there.in my opinion i wouldn't have the subs inverted like that. the magnets on them seem wayyyy too small on them 18" baskets. reminds me of my atlas motor on a 15" basket.
you need vids soon man. i could only imagine the flex coming off that thing.
bmx, that vid of the 4hp was awesome! lawl.
It has already been said that it does make MINIMAL/LITTLE difference.then whats the purpose of facing subs in a different direction?
you're an idiot if you think bass isnt directional at all.
with 1 inverted and 1 regular in 1 solid chamber, yes you should probably wire the inverted one out of phase. i think you could technically wire them regular but youd have to have subs that could take that large amount of excursion. this is basically an isobaric enclosure you know. There has been misinformation on wiring out of phase.
Here is a thread about it
