I am installing a Omega Car Alarm and i need a accessory to finish the remote start part because i cannot get it from my distributor. It is Omega Part #AU-VAT

I am installing an Omemamaxe system with the echo2 add-on. So if you have any experience with this setup, please give me some feedback

What vehicle? Since it says VAT, are you trying to bypass VATS? If so, you don't need a bypass. If you aren't sure of this, I can help ya out.

It is a 97 Monte Carlo

Yes, it has the key with the resistor in it. I need to bypass this for the remote start.

you can do it without a bypass... just need a relay if you want to make it work... or you can bypass the vats system for good... just measure the resistance of the key with a multimeter... find the orange harness with the 2 white wires in it... splice into one and cut the other in half... put the resistor from the wire you just spliced... to the non-ignition side of the wire you cut in half... there... vats is now bypassed and you do not have to pay big money 2 get a key cut for your car... or use a relay to make it only accessible when you remote start it

coming from the ignition harness... it's a really small flat orange harness with 2 white wires in it
