I was wondering if any of you oldschool guys, or anyone for that matter, knows how many volts the 98' line of US amps were rated at. My amp is rated at about 1100w, but I don't know how many volts that's at. I also don't know how underrated this thing is. I hope it's 12v:naughty:

i believe all old school us amps are rated at like 12.2V...say your amp puts out 900x1 @ 4 ohm at 12.2V then it really puts out 1000x1 @ 4 ohm @ 14.4V..if your electrical puts out 14.4V...my us amps are rated at 12.2V but my car puts out 14.4V on the volt meter..so i am gettin a little more juice which is always good..that USA-400 you have prolley puts out lemme see..hold on..400x1 @ 2 ohms bridged @ 12.2V..so you will get about 500w rms @ 14.4V...its a nice amp!!..hope this helps..this USA-400 might be the newer one..not sure..they got so many..but i am sure you get the idea...thanks
