Hey all, looking for a used preferably older 600 RMS at 4 ohm amp to power my Sundown E-12 D2 subwoofer.

I am using an old class AB and it keeps cooking itself to thermal protection and is underpowered.

I been looking at the MRP1000 and zx1000.1 but cant really find any good deals on ebay.

Does anyone know of any amp that puts that RMS out that is a older/cheaper amp?

Would a MRP850 (pushing 500 RMS) be a good match? I always try to run a little bit bigger amp for my subs but these seem to be priced well.

Yours shouldn't be getting that hot. My A/B feel like they can cook eggs and they are covered. Never thermal warming..
I just took a chance and ordered a Kenwood KAC-9106D hopefully it doesnt get too hot and now I have the option to upgrade to a second Sundown E12 and run it at 2 ohm at 1000 RMS watts..

Thanks all

I have a Memphis AR-HC50 that would be great for your application. Will do around 700-800rms bridged at 4 ohms. Very clean power, in great condition and built like a tank. Lmk if you are interested and I can send pics.

PPI PC2600 600W bridged into 4 ohms all day long, fan cooled.. Hard to find, long out of production. I had a pair running 2 L7's
