Older Autotek Mean Machine, Internals, Repaired, Help! (PICS! 56k beware)

Amplifier is a Autotek Mean Machine MX900.2

I just bought an Autotek Mean Machine real cheap, did not work however so i got it repaired.. . here are some pictures.

Note: The amp has not been powered on. On one of the pictures, it looks like gooish stuff is on a yellow cylinder looking thing. . . is this normal? Should I take it back before I power it on? On the lid cover it is discolored in two places. . is this where it burned? Is this a big/minor burn? Please forward any information you can help me with. Anyone have exact specs on this either? Thank You!

 
um. capicators are very cheap. thats a nice fat one, so it might run you a few $$.

you will want to replace all the capicators that are the same as that (at least i would).

but i would not turn it on with that leaking as it is.

and the 'discoloration' is where they did not paint the chassis panel where the caps come close to the chassis. i dont know why.
