i was wondering this guy had a expedition today with 2 15's older rockford fosgate and a new mtx amp like 1000 watt. and he was killin my stuff is it cuz his box was much bigger than mine or what? it was just a off the shelf box not custom, i have a reg cab truck.. shitty box from the pawn shop and a 500watt amp.. someone is gona build me a a box for my 2 10'' kicker cvx's dual 2 ohms..

well not baffled but just curious why his was that much louder.. my friend has the 12'' cvxs in a camaro and they pound on a 1000 watt hifonics amp... my amp is a rockford fosgate P3001

and im not knockin the old school rockford cuz i use to have there old school amp but had to sell it.. i still have a old school one im going to be using for my door speakers.

just an fyi. those cvx's are not the loudest thing out there. not to mention that u have much more cone area in two 15's than u do in two 10's.

You have dual 2 ohm subs so im assuming your getting 300 watts. Isnt the rms on the cvx10 600rms a piece? You need a better amp.

also splitting 300 watts between 2 600 watt RMS drivers=BAD

yah i know he has more cone area than i do and i know my subs are not the best im just saying just cuz you have 2 15s dont mean you have the best.. and i know i need a bigger amp funds are coming had to replace my engine.
