Sony XM504X 4-Channel Amplifier
Item(s) Description/Condition:
Fair cosmetic condition, two somewhat noticeable spots discoloration (about size of quarters) on top of sink. One pretty deep scratch near the top 'XM' logo. Missing plexi cover for controls. No huge blemishes or broken fins. No rust. All terminal screws included. No speaker level harnesses included (easily found on ebay) Warranty seal on amp internals still intact.
Very versatile pre-amp stage! Separate left and right crossover, gain, and bass boost adjustment for all four channels. Direct signal mode to bypass crossover circuits to make the amp run cleaner in full range. Has LED's that show the power output of all four channels individually.
Was told that the amp does slightly more than rated power at 2 ohm and rated power at 4 ohm. Unregulated Power Supply.
Ratings below (14.4V):
50 W RMS x4 at 4 ohm
65 W RMS x4 at 2 ohm
130 W RMS x2 at 4 ohm bridged
These amps have better harmonic distortion and frequency response specs than the later Explod series. I probably should use this but I want something Red to match my 7527 ES amp (like maybe a XM754HX).
