Greetings to the members of CarAudio.com! I'm new to this forum but not new to the audio world. Just getting back not it after a long time off. Quick back ground, my dad got me into audio at a super young age, teaching me about audio visual, frequency, sound waves, driver placement, sound stage building and later learning about time alignment. Audio has always interested me and after getting my first car it was a tidal wave! My dad sold high end home audio and car audio back in the day. He sold (rep) Rockford Fosgate, soundstream, and others that I don't currently remeber. I got into the competition arena but never made it anywhere, dB Drags were what interested me back in the beginning but changed to SQ after being in a few factory demo vehicles. Didn't have a whole lot of money back then cause I was still in high school paying for my first car and then getting into actual drag racing. Time passed, took a 10 year break as I built my 1959 Cadillac (hence the screen name) which I sold to pay for my wedding (my wife sold her race quad and street bike so it was fair, paid the wedding in cash! !) Have been wanting to get back into audio but never had time to go through my huge collection until I had my baby girl 7 weeks ago and I took a month off to be with her and decided to sell off the majority of my collection. I want to use the funds to build a really nice SQ daily driver as I have a 80+mile round trip to work and a nice home audio system.
So, after all that, thank you for the opportunity to converse with all of you and I hope I can offer some of my knowledge as I pick the brains of others! And hopefully some of my items I put up will interest you!
