No, I know what you mean //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I still believe that a new amp that is of quality will be better than an old amp of quality in terms of SQ and efficiency. I still think the old stuff is very good, and to be honest by ear the difference will be negligible, but I do think on an actual measurement system the new ones will measure better, except for Class D, they can never measure better but they have other things going for them that IMO make up for that. Basically quality is quality no matter when it is made, but like I said, you have to compare stuff aimed at the same target, you can't compare old Orion and the ilk to new Pyle //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I still faithfully run 2 RF Punch 150's (3rd gen from 89, just before the HD models) & going as strong as day 1. I would still put them up against the majority of new class A/B amps out today in their class.
