hey I have a old RF Power 500a2 amp and I was wondering if it has enough juice to run a w7 w/ out hurting the sub or a 13w6v2. Im thinking of purchasing a new sub and its between a 12w6v2, 13w6v2 or a w7 .. or if any one has any other suggestions please do tell. Thanks

Only problem, the 500a2 is NOT 2 ohm stable. I had one driving a pair of 8 ohm 8s in the Stealthbox that was in my 2000 F150 extended cab.

Contrary to what you will hear on this forum, the 13w6v2 isn't a bad sub, BUT it won't hit 150 dBs like most on this forum want to hit. If you want louder, there are better subs out there to get loud. On the flip side, it's going to be hard to find a better sounding sealed enclosure sub than the 13w6v2. At least I can't think of any for less than $300.

The 500a2 is a decent amp, just not that 500.2 like I have //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/suave.gif.858fc102f7646e678ee8af7e1fbc41d1.gif

shameless plug..I know I know.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
