Hey guys, i'm gettin Dinty's Rainbow Profis, and the JL 300/4 for them is going to come in about a week.

Before you bash the $%^& outta me for even asking for such nice speakers, bare with. stock amp is about 18w tweet and 18w rms for the mid, crossover in amp. So I was wondering- for a few days it won't hurt the Profi's at all, right?

This way I wouldn't need to take my door panels off like 3 times.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

Won't hurt the speakers, no...

But the difference in dynamic range and clarity will be striking when you get the new amp installed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That is the perfect spot to do that. OEM sub may interfere with the new one and cause cancellation.
