ok tell me this

might have something to do with your exhaust system. id start from there and work your way out.
wtf that got to do with my electrical?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifExhaust would affect his headlights either dimming or not exactly how?!?
exhaust system inefficiencies can cause a chain reaction back up through the motor, sort of like trying to blow up an air mattress while having your morbidly obese friend jump on it.

its simple dynamics of making horsepower. the more air you can take in, and the faster you can push it out, the more horsepower you make. same thing in reverse. cant get the exhaust out, goes into the motor, motor has to work harder, thus requiring more power from your battery and electrical system, thus being directly related your headlight dimming.

and i base this on absolutely nothing.

You have really, really strange ways of killing time when you're bored. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

im supposed to be writing an english paper due tomorrow afternoon..im just wasting time so i dont have to do it..

ok anyways,,where is a good place for a beefed up alt?
Do a search.

There are several places to get them online.

Another possibility is to see if you have any auto electric rebuilders in your area.

Rather than buying an HO alternator from a retailer I had mine beefed up by a local rebuilder and saved a ton over what it would have been from somewhere like MeanGreen, IraggiAlternator, etc.
