im trying to burn a dam dvd for my in dash dvd player, none of them will work, im using DVD+R, and im using dvd shrink 3.2 and nero vision express, i cant get them to play on my in dash

only thing i can think of is i need DVD-R, it says dvd-r/rw compatable, does that not include dvd+r? if this is the problem no one gets 5 bucks, i only have dvd+r's

that is your problem, most players will read dvd- more then dvd+

DVD-r and DVD+r are completely different. If your DVD player doesn't say it's +r compatible, then more than likely, it won't play them. well i tried fujifilm and maxwell, ill order some fujifilm -R, and ill get like a 3 pack tommorow of dvd-r from wall mart and get back to this

yup, it means you can only use dvd-r/rw media.
