Ok so i need help now

A battery is a chemical device that is made up of sulfuric acid and lead. When fully charged that is what it is, as it discharges the sulfuric acid breaks down and the discharged portion turns the lead to lead sulfate. When a battery gets recharged it does not store power it uses the charge to pull the sulfate out of the lead. Leave a battery rest discharged the discharged portion (lead sulfate) will crystallize and at least be VERY difficult to recharge if not impossible to recharge. A battery doesn't have to be dead to be sulfated either as part of the battery can be sulfated and this makes it hard for an alternator to keep it charged and can get the alternator hot and the battery. A Ctek charger and comfort light indicator can be very helpful.

the battery is charging but sometimes out of no where it dies i really have no idea how. the only electronics i have installed is my recently installed alarm system (had it for about 4 weeks and this is hte first time it died with the new alarm) but prior to my alarm system i only have my audio (2 amps, 1 subwoofer, 1 set of speakers, and one audiocontrol Lc2i line out converter. but it completely drained a few times before my alarm system so im not sure. i know for a fact nothing is on (lights) and also i have fog lights installed but it shouldnt be pulling anything from the battery when its off. and also i have a weapon r i throttle controller that connects to the obd II reader. i really dont get it i cant figure out the culprit to this problem. but anyway every time my car has completely died nothing ever happend to any of my amplifiers except for this time
Remove them and see if your bat still drains.

lol. yeah im gonna test a before and after drainage check with my equipment installed and uninstalled. well see how it goes. i found some vids on youtube

I know people have helped and some good info but for 1500 watts you just flat out dknt nees a ho alt. Just big 3 and one really goos batt or 2 decent batta will be plenty...im no expert but in my experience u dont need a ton of extras to run that much power

yeah i have 2 parts of the big three done ( i have 5 ground wires connected all over my car ) all i need to do is just cnnect the alt wire to the battery to complete it. and thats good to know that 1500 watts doesnt need a HO alt because they are expensive!!!! ill just buy a kinetik battery for my audio! can i connect a kinetik AGM battery to a regular lead/sulfiric acid starting battery (power master 600cca battery)? or do i have to also change out my starting battery to an AGM battery as well?

Check drainage by resting voltage of the battery in hour to 2 hour intervals, 1500 watts of power is going to take 105 amps of power at 100% efficiency and the car is going to take another 40+ amps so if you have a 100 amp alternator it will not keep up as well as you might think. When you want to see how well this is done after the system is turned off for a couple hours and measured at the battery/batteries with the vehicle off.

yeah does no good to have grounds done up without power also not good to have different size power and grounds...and you can do that but i would suggest maybe a optima up front and a kinetic or something in the back. This would help you the most imo and still be cheaper than a HO alt im sure

an optima would run me about 130 and a kinetik around 200, thats still under 400 for a HO alt.

but the reason why i have 5 grounds is because some kid i know made a kit for my car and i bought it through a group buy. thier all 4 gauge ground wires and i have a 4 gauge power wire that i need to connect now to complete my big 3 upgrade. i think im just gonna do that.
