Ok so I HAD to share this!

Tonight some freinds of mine, along with people I just met, and myself are all just hanging out. Well sometime during the night this one guy made a comment about how he used to "beat the block down" with his system. So I became interested and asked the usual question what did you have. He replies just 3 15s in a corola....I think to my self wtf? So I play along with it and his buddy was like yea and we went to this competition and blah blah..so naturally I ask what did you meter. He replies "170"...no lie I fell out of my chair laughing so hard I couldnt breathe! But thats not the best part yet! He also adds that he was competing in the 150w class! AND that his "cousin" whos good with electronics or some shit "tinkered" with his amp making it put out 5000 watts!! I almost pissed myself I was laughing so hard at this shit! I really cant believe what some people will say to try to be cool. Also he was like "yea unfortunately I blew all 3 in the competition so I dont have them anymore." This was great shit, it made my night!

is it better for a sub to have a high sensitivity like 92 or a low one like 87?

It's better to have the one that fits your application.

im buying 3 cm3 10s for my truck and dont know how to hook them up to one amp. all advice welcome.

o sry forgot to put it but there 2 ohm, but wouldnt all 3 put together be 1ohm or 9 ohms?

i'm having my highs and mids put on an amp. so wouldnt if i do that the cd player amp not be used anymore? if so can i hook up more speakers to the cd players internal amp as well as have the ones on the amp?

i currently has 2 6 1/2s and 2 6x9s powered with an amp and i was thinkin about gettin two more speakers and was wondering which size is the best for vocals.

Size has nearly no relevance when determining drivers and once again, more must be better.

not necessarily but yea we've all made our noob questions. which all of those have been from a while back. and an fyi if you read the forum I posted about the external amp and HU amp I was currently working on a set up where I had 4 speakers in the bed of my truck for when im working or just tailgating and didnt want to run a whole nother amp for them so I was going to put them on a switch. but all in all I may have asked stupid questions but I've never said something as stupid as what he did. IMO there is a difference between boosting about something completely retarded and asking some noob questions in order to learn and take the next step.

I love how people on this website take something ment to be funny and find a way to **** it up. yal really must have no life.

iamdeman- on the question about what does how many posts you have have do with anything or how long. it doesnt really matter at all. some people live on this website and have massive amounts of posts. others come and go when they need advice or want to share something. neither makes a person a noob or expert. its simply just a number. yea i made a stupid comment but i thought he did too. I personally just use this site to ask about something I'm not sure on, share personal experience with products I've used that someone wants to know about.

i play along with people all the time and make them sound like idiots too.

they say they had competition speakers. and i ask if it was written on the box when they bought it. i giggle and ask them if i wrote competition on the side of a geo metro, would they tell people they have a competition car? lawl.

then they say the subs were huge and yada yada. then i proceed to find videos of the team toxic bass pete soundstream XXX + hifonix + hair trick. and his seats are flexing and they are speechless. then i show them the one with 5 RE MT's flexin that dudes window like 3 inches.

they proceed to say their stereo was awesome - but nothing like that hah. i use extreme examples. but it gets them quiet.

haha thats good stuff...I've done that a few times but on a smaller scale. I did have some fun with the guy though because he'd been talking out his *** the whole night about whatever. the guy is 21 years old too, not like it was some 16 yr old doing it.
